btw, I had a very similar problem with the encoders on my m-audio axiom 49 which was pretty easily fixed by adjusting it's built in "encoder acceleration" feature. With it's small form factor and great versatility. Rather than use your laptop and mouse, core functions of the software. Ten years on from the original release, the Traktor Kontrol X1 is still being sold by Native Instruments.
